From October to March there are nearly 18 hours of light in Tierra del Fuego, which allows to make the most of the day.

The sun shines on the Beagle Channel early in the morning from the East, an ideal time to go sailing and see the wild life.

At sunset, the sky turns red and gold as the light hides behind the mountains. A stroll along the promenade or a walk in the Playa Larga Natural Reserve are perfect locations to admire the Southern twilight.

In the outskirts, roads and trails offer a variety of sceneries to explore. The lakes Escondido and Fagnano are a must when it comes to watch magnificent sunsets on their waters. In the North of the island, coasts and beaches also have alluring landscapes where you can do wildlife sightseeing and hear the mighty roar of the South Atlantic waves.
