Walking the first 3 kilometers of the trail that leads to the Sofia Lagoon, inside the Provincial Reserve "Corazón de la Isla", you will arrive to the point where a 3 kilometers more trail starts, which takes you to the shores of the Fagnano Lake.
This route presents some steeper slopes, but in general it is a trekking of medium difficulty. The surrounding landscape consists of a forest of tall lengas, ñires, peat and beaver woods. Towards the final stretch, the terrain descends steeply until you reach the shores of the lake, from where you get a magnificent panoramic view of the area.
