Sailing the Beagle Channel

This autumn you can sail through the Beagle Chanel, and get stunning panoramic views.

From the port of Ushuaia, catamarans and small boats depart daily to tour the mythical Beagle Channel and its attractions. Itineraries vary in length, but the most visited spots are Isla de los Pájaros and Isla de los Lobos, where you can see cormorants, skuas, seagulls, petrels and two types of sea lions. Another popular place is the lighthouse Les Eclaireurs, (the explorers in French), built in 1919.

In addition to sailing, there is the possibility of taking a short walk on Karelo Island or H Island, which allows you to enjoy a 360º panoramic view of the Beagle Channel.

Sailings can be combined with other activities, and local operators and agencies can be consulted for this purpose.
