With the arrival of autumn, the island displays the most memorable sceneries.  Red and golden lenga trees, the evergreen ñires, white capped mountains, emerald lakes and blue seas. It's a perfect time to relax and contemplate nature, and take a bus, a train or a boat ride, capturing images along the way.  The National Park is an ideal place to take short hikes by the shores of the lake Acigami or explore the trails in the forest.

While nature shows landscapes full of contrasts, in the town you can find many things to do on a rainy day or if you're in the mood for a quiet moment: cafes, museums, a shopping mall, and souvenir shops to buy gifts. Local restaurants offer the best products of the local cuisine, such as king crab, trout, lamb and a variety of sweets and craft chocolates. By the evening, you can try some of the liquors and craft beers produced in the island,  with the best standards of quality.
