This trail leads to the marker Hito XXIV, bordering the shores of Lake Acigami and meandering through a lush forest of lenga trees. It is one of the most beautiful hikes in the Tierra del Fuego National Park, due to its landscapes of mountains, green woodlands and emerald waters. The trail starts at the parking lot in front of the lake, and after 1 kilometer, you will come to a fork. Here you must take the left path; to the right there is a sign marking the beginning of Cerro Guanaco trail. Following the lake shores you can see the native flora of the park, composed of Calafate, Blackbush and sarsaparrilla. Among the fauna you can find here there are species such as the red fox, the woodpecker, the Chimango and the Caracara Plancus or Carancho. The path is well marked and there is a wooden dock bench by the lake where you can rest. This trail is open from November to April and it is advisable to be in fit form before doing this trek.
